The village of Dhermi belongs to the municipality of Himare and is located 42 kilometers south of the city of Vlora and roughly the same distance north of Saranda, the southernmost city of Albania.

The original village was built on the slope of the Keraun Mountains and is located at an altitude of about 200 meters.

In addition to Derma itself, the village includes two counties, Gzhilek and Kondrak (also known as Kallam). The mountains on which Dhërmi was built descend southwest to the Ionian coast, where visitors can swim in the cool waters of several wonderful beaches.

Dermi is famous for its nightlife, summer festivals and a thriving hospitality industry. In recent years, the rocky coast and wildlife have been tamed with numerous facilities to suit all tastes, from luxury boutique hotels to wooden villas.

The new seaside promenade offers many opportunities for romantic evening walks, and the nearby bars and restaurants are perfect for those who want to taste local and international cuisine.

The village of Palase, where a luxury resort is currently being built, is located a short distance from Dhermi, Albania.
