Gion Mili Museum The Albanian-born American photographer Gion Milli now has a museum in the town of Korce where he was. The museum displays many world-famous photographs taken by the photographer. Gion Mili is known as the first photographer to use the movement of electronic flash. Gion Mili was born on November 24, 1904 in Korce. At the age of 5, his family emigrated to Romania. There he graduated from high school and at the age of 19 went to America. Graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in lighting engineering. During this time he was engaged in photographic art. A museum dedicated to him is located in the city of Korce in Albania, stabilized in the “Romanian House” in the center of Korce. Gyon Mili is one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century.
