Every summer, Turkish Napoleon visited Lake Butrint to meet the queen of the lake and enjoy the beauty of this area.
Mussel is the “Queen” for us. This gave health and well-being to Ali Pasha. These are a few short stories to show how important the mussel was and still is. This is a very special tour in this beautiful area of Albania that is truly impossible to experience anywhere else. We usually start our tour with a traditional boat ride, a wooden boat used by farmers and an indigenous guide that takes us across the lake and enriches our travels and the many legends of the area. During the trip, we will see how mussels are cultivated, learn more about the details of their growth, and then get fresh mussels, move to a place on a quiet beach and many fantastic views of everything. square.
